You certainly know the names of the different military homes from the past: PMT's, HMT's (later AMT's) and ECHOS Homes. Maybe you remember the names PIT, KNMB Pro Rege and SAMT? From january 2010 however there is only one organization (Home-Base Support) en one type of militairy home (ECHOS Home).

 

Besides hospitality to soldiers, the services of Home-Base Support also extend to recreation and moral support.
On top of that we focus on the homefront of soldiers who are on a mission abroad, former soldiers, and veterans.

 

Our new name represents our mission and tasks:

 

Represents the security of 'home' and with that for the military homes of Pro Rege where military are welcome since 1974. It also represents the services to the family home, former soldiers and veterans.

 

We create far from home a homebase at or nearby the military camp; the word also covers the basic facilities which are offered.

 

Shows that we will support the soldiers, their homefront, former soldiers and veterans.
